Orthodontics: where Art and Science meet...
Why Choose Capital Region Braces?
Good orthodontics is about more than simply straightening teeth. At Capital Region Braces, we want you to have straight teeth, of course. But we also want you to have facial balance while at the same time establishing a good foundation for ongoing dental health. Here is how we strive to accomplish those goals....
Our Commitment to the Profession
A skilled orthodontist is as much an artist as a scientist. Because of our combined decades of practical expertise, we know what works in the real world — even when those in the medical community can’t always explain precisely why or how. There are no shortcuts in this profession; and learning such orthodontic “tricks of the trade” occurs over many years of successful practice.
Our proven clinical judgment is where the artistic eye meets scientific theory, and it is something that can only be achieved through years of experience. It is because of that experience that our patients receive the full depth of our knowledge, technical skill, and strong sense of aesthetics to enjoy the best results from our orthodontic treatments. Every patient’s needs are different. No matter what the problem, we aim to solve it — and we never give up!
Our Commitment to Excellence
We are committed to getting outstanding results for our patients. To that end, we set rigorous continuing education goals for our entire staff.
Our orthodontists, Dr. Alan Justin and Dr. Caleb George, stay current with the latest and best orthodontic techniques by taking yearly courses and keeping up with professional journals. In addition, all our clinical staff are certified as dental assistants, or they are enrolled in a certification program and attend courses.
Our Commitment to YOU
We are serious about our responsibility to educate our patients, their parents, and the community at large. That’s why our orthodontists offer consultations — at no cost — so patients can learn about their options, make informed decisions, and plan for treatment.
Some patients might feel satisfied with great-looking front teeth only halfway through orthodontic treatment. We believe strongly, however, in taking a thorough approach that includes aligning the back teeth as well, so that they mesh solidly for a stable bite. We know the importance of positioning teeth optimally in supporting bone for our patients’ best long-term overall health.
